About Brett Lamond

Brett Lamond has over 35 years of accounting, financial and taxation planning experience. He spent 11 years as a Chartered Accountant in Sydney with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Horwath & Horwath before formally founding Brett Lamond & Co in 1991.

Brett brings a wealth of experience to every client and has been involved with the ATO and Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and on behalf of other professional bodies committees providing input on policy development and guidance for: 

• The Lodgement Working Group
• The Accounting Working Group 
• The Proof of Identity Ad Hoc Committee
• The Standard Business Reporting (XML) Consultative Committee. 

Brett was also the Chairman of the Professional Year (now CA year) Support Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA).
